On February 12, 2008, the Council on Environmental Quality issued a notice (73 Fed.Reg. 8043) that “A Citizen’s Guide to the National Environmental Policy Act – Having Your Voice Heard” is now available. The guide explains how NEPA is implemented as well as how all citizens can participate in the Federal environmental impact assessment process. Requests for the guide can be obtained by sending an e-mail to hgreczmiel@ceq.eop.gov with the subject line “NEPA Citizen’s Guide.”
This guide may be useful for people who live in the vicinity of major federally funded projects, such as airport expansions, and highway developments.
